They Wither is an Unblack/Death Metal duo from Pretoria, South Africa. Formed around 2009, they released a self-titled EP in 2014 under Vision of God Records. This debut delivers a powerful mix of depressive Unblack Metal, Funeral Doom, and Gothic tones, with slow tempos, somber vocals, and layered textures. Their haunting and oppressive atmosphere sets them apart in the Extreme Metal scene.
