The Song of Deborah is a concept album inspired by the biblical judge and warrior Deborah, delivered through a mix of epic heavy metal, melodic guitar work, and dramatic vocal performances. The music tells a story of courage, faith, and divine deliverance, with orchestral keyboards and soaring solos that add a cinematic, almost theatrical vibe. The production leans clean and polished, allowing the melodies and message to stand front and center.
An interesting note, Deborah is lead vocalist Claudia Cano Martínez also happens to be the wife of Exousia’s founding member Miguel Martínez. While Exousia helped pioneer the Christian metal scene in Mexico, Deborah brought a heavier, more extreme sound that added a whole new dimension.
In 2022, they played at the international Heaven & Hell Metal Fest in Mexico, sharing the lineup (though not the stage) with major names like Slipknot, Cradle of Filth, and Behemoth.
